ACT FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION (ACF Rwanda) is a humanitarian child-centered organization dedicated to protecting and promoting children’s rights in Rwanda.
We work to create a society where every child enjoys equality in education, social protection, justice, and respect for human dignity through transformative, rights-based programs.
Empowering children as agents of change
Our beneficiaries are key agents of change and we encourage their active engagement and participation as opportunity to take part in fighting against their rights violation and thus making step up in building a better world free of child abuse.
Preventing rights violations
We prevent children's rights violation through fighting against key-causes of school dropout and illiteracy including domestic violence and harassment in the context of our programs and internal operations. We strive to build a successful world leaving behind ignorance due to children rights violation in all their forms.

Advocacy for Children's Rights
- Promoting and defending the rights of children, especially children with disabilities, to ensure full inclusion and equal opportunities.
- Working with security organs, judicial institutions, and local leaders to advocate for children whose rights are violated.
- Empowering children and youth to become voices of change in their communities.
Fighting Against School Dropout
- Tackling the root causes of school dropout by addressing violations of children's fundamental rights.
- Supporting vulnerable children with school materials and advocating for their education rights.
- Working with families and communities to create supportive learning environments.
Youth and Women Empowerment
- Providing vocational training and life skills development for youth and women.
- Supporting income-generating activities and entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Creating platforms for youth and women to participate in community development.
Agriculture and Environment
- Promoting sustainable agriculture practices among communities.
